I just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. We did not go the traditional route (our supper consisted of brown and serve rolls along with a store bought pumpkin pie), but we did have some food. The Packers won, and I was feeling reasonably well, so all in all it was a great day.
Take a moment to remember those less fortunate in the world as you celebrate today. I had to do that, because although I’m having some difficulties in my life, there are always people who have it worse off. So many of them are filled with grace and gratitude I could only dream of possessing. I think the holidays are a great time to reminisce and reflect on the many blessings around us, as well as an opportunity to serve those who need us, in any way possible. Just remember that you might be in their shoes someday. God Bless.
